I currently do not have health insurance of any kind. I know I need some fillings done, but I want to buy dental insurance first, instead of paying 100% out of pocket. for my dental care. I am new to having to shop out dental care and do not know what to get. Are there any companies that does only dental insurance, and if so would I be able to get my needed dental work done right away?

Cincinnati Council members are sponsoring a motion that would fund evening hours at the city health care clinics. The death of Kyle Willis brings home the point of just how important emergency dental care clinics are. Mr Willis age 24 died in August at University Hospital when he had an untreated tooth infection spread to his brain.
Even though Mr Willis did go twice to Clermont County emergency room for his terrible toothache pain, and the ER doctors did give him a prescription for antibiotics, Mr Willis could not afford the cost of the antibiotics and the infection was left untreated.
Bootsy Collins and his Wife Patti along with several other family member also spoke out at the hearing. They hoping to educate the public to the importance of having emergency dental care offered at Cincinnati’s health clinics, and it to be provided to everyone regardless of ability to pay.

My current dentist I been seeing off and on for the past five years is only a provider of Anthem Blue Cross PPO plan. Since my dental cost are getting to high for me they suggest that I buy that dental insurance plan. However I can only seem to find it in a group plan and not for an individual such as myself to get it directly. This does not seem right and maybe I am not looking in the right place can you please advise.
