Dental Coverages, comparing California dental insurance plans.

I am on line shopping out my current dental insurance plan could use some direction.  I currently get dental insurance though my job.  And although it only cost me $5.00 per pay check which works out to $10.00 a month it does not really offer much in the way of coverage.

Dental Coverages, Why do California PPO plan cost more yet seem to have more limitations

For the past few days now I have been shopping out dental insurance.  I talked to my dentist to find out what dental insurance plans I should get and was told by the staffing that I would need to get a dental PPO plan that has outside network. Should I?
