My current dentist I been seeing off and on for the past five years is only a provider of Anthem Blue Cross PPO plan. Since my dental cost are getting to high for me they suggest that I buy that dental insurance plan. However I can only seem to find it in a group plan and not for an individual such as myself to get it directly. This does not seem right and maybe I am not looking in the right place can you please advise.

I would like to find a good dental insurance web site that lets me compare more then just one dental plan being offer in California. I know there are many different dental insurance plans offer in California but I do not want to have to go to a bunch of different websites to find them since I know I will start getting lost on were I saw what. Is there a easy way to compare and shop out dental insurance in California.

I would like to know more about Liberty Dental HMO plan. I have a friend that has this HMO plan and is seeing a dentist she likes. Though for me that dentist would be to far for me to want to go to. She been telling me to get dental insurance so that my dental cost would be much less then what I am paying for now without any dental benefits. I would like to but since I never had dental insurance I am not sure how to go about getting it and what to look for so I do not feel like I got taken.

I am 24 and when I was younger I did not receive good oral health care since my parents could not afford for me to see the dentist to often. Now I am out on my own and working full time but I still do not receive dental benefits though my job. The dentist I have call locally all say they take Dental Dental so it seems to be the better of the dental insurance plan option. I see that Dental Dental of California is affordable but does it offer good benefits on my oral health care needs.

Having good dental habits at home will help keep your dental care cost low. I am sure you may have heard this before but flossing and brushing your teeth daily will help you to prevent cavities and gum disease. With proper preventive dental care at home you can prevent larger more costly dental services done at the dentist.

Due to the current dismal economy many people are not seeing their dentist as often as the should. With California being a hard hit state for unemployment, if you are putting off that needed trip to the dentist, know you are not alone in doing so.
In a 2011 survey of dental care affordability and accessibility 77% of Americans without dental care delayed further dental visits due to the cost of care. The survey also shows that 73% of Americans do not even know what their dental care costs.

I had Blue Cross with a prior job, I really like the the dental benefits the plan had to offer me. I am looking at the HMO plan you offer in California though Anthem Blue Cross. It seems like a pretty good plan for HMO and my dentist I listed. I think the plan I use to have with Blue Cross was a PPO but I know I can not afford PPO dental plans right now. I want to make sure that Anthem is the old Blue Cross?

Amalgam fillings still have their place in dental care. The British Dental Association Welcomes the World Health Organization’s publication Future Use of Materials for Dental Restorations. A 44 year old mother of three from the UK was suffering from extreme pain due to a infected root canal. The dentist that was to help her pulled out the wrong tooth. The dentist had realized his error and sewed back the wrongly extracted tooth after removing it out of the trash can.
He then left the original infected tooth intact and told her she would need to make another appointment for that tooth extraction. Sending her on her way home with a prescription for painkillers. Unable to take the pain for the whole night she had to be admitted into the hospital where the tooth was removed. The dentist has been suspended and is awaiting disciplinary hearing.
