Palm Springs, California Dental Care, Teeth whitening treatments:  I have yellowish teeth and I really want to have them whiten up.  However the dental insurance plan I have now does not offer teeth whitening treatments and my dentist wants $250.00 to whiten my teeth which is a little to pricey for me.  I would like to know if you offer a dental plan that can help me reduce the cost of whiten treatment.  If not can any one suggest a good teeth whiten product that I can get and do myself?  I just want something affordable and that really works.  No point in spending $50 on a teeth whitening product to save money if  it does not work.

California Dental care, Whitening toothpaste if I brush longer will I whiten my teeth faster: My mom will not get my teeth whiten nor will she pay for any over the counter whiten strips or let me use them.   About the only thing she has agree to was getting me toothpaste with whitening.   I really want my teeth to be really white. So if I brush longer and more often but will this really help?

California Dental care, Is it okay to take sleeping pill after having wisdom teeth extractions: I take sleeping pills when needed since normally I do not sleep and I am a very light sleeper.  Since I know having all four wisdom teeth pulled is going to be painful for days I also know I will never get to sleep if I am in pain.   Do you think I ought to take some ahead of time?

California Dental Care, Silver dental fillings are the really all the bad: For a long time now I hear people staying how our old silver filling are really bad and should be removed.   I have like six or seven old silver fillings.   I got them when I was a kids.  I am no longer a child and I have had my filling for many years. Any advice?

I went to the dental and was told I have a hole in my back molar.   I am to go back in two weeks to do a full evaluation but right now it looks like I will be needing a root canal and crown done.  I did not have it done at the time because I my insurance was not active.

California Dental care, Getting over dental fears: I have not been to the dentist in over two years.  I am very scared about going to the dentist so it keeps me from going even though I have dental insurance though my job.  The last time I went to a dentist he did two filling and it really hurt.  Any advise?

About two months ago my dentist advise me that I should think about removing my wisdom teeth eventually but she never really said when.  Now my bottom jaw is starting to hurt.  I think maybe it has something to do with the wisdom teeth coming in.  I can feel the tip of a tooth coming thru my gums. Will California dental insurance help?

I hit my tooth while I was messing round with a few of my friends.  I really hurt for like five or so minutes but now it feels fine.  It does not seem lose or anything should I still tell my mom about it or am I making a big deal over nothing?

I am going to be a new mom in a few months.  I have always had bad teeth when I was a child.  I was lucky not to have to many issues with my adult teeth.  My husband was the same way he had bad baby teeth.
