Dental Root Canal and Crown work, need dental help in California

Dental Root Canal and Crown work, need dental help in California: I live in California and I was told that my back bottom molar has a cavity that is too large to fill and I need to have a root canal and then a crown put on. I have a very low coverage dental plan my job offers but it will not pay hardly anything for major dental care. Is there anything thing else I can get that will help me out with the cost. I was being quoted $1759.00 and that is with my dental insurance. I could really use your help.
