Dental Insurance vs Dental Discount plans for Individuals and Groups.

I am an owner of a small business. I do not have enough employees where I need to get them medical insurance but I would like to get them dental as a benefit for them. I am wanting to keep the cost low so that it affordable for me to offer my employee without any cost to them for the plan. Which is better to get a dental discount plan or dental insurance? New to having to research this so your advise is welcome.
