Supplemental California Dental insurance, getting a second dental plan

Supplemental California Dental insurance, getting a second dental plan: The dental insurance that I have currently though my job as a 1000.00 year max per person. Which is really not much coverage when you need more the two cleaning a year. My wife needs to have a few crowns with in the next year and she would like it all to be done around the end of the year. Any suggestions?
